Financial Aid Process

The Montessori School of Greater Hartford offers limited, need-based financial aid. The school endeavors to meet the demonstrated need of as many accepted mission appropriate families as possible, and aims to create a balanced, vibrant school community with full enrollment at all levels. The financial aid budget is funded by monies earmarked in the operating budget and augmented by monies raised through Development, namely the Children's Fund and the MSGH Annual Gala.

Families who wish to apply for financial aid can apply online. MSGH uses TADS by Community Brands to help process financial aid applications. TADS provides a need-based financial aid analysis service, and furnishes the school with a report, which outlines a family’s financial need, based on the information provided.  All information is kept strictly confidential.

Once complete, the application will be available almost immediately for the Financial Aid Committee’s review. The Committee aims to notify families of their financial aid award, before requiring them to return an enrollment contract.

Financial aid awards are made on a year-to-year basis and families must file a new application each year.

The deadline for receipt of applications for the 2019/20 academic year is February 15, 2019.
