Each of our Primary classes was treated to two sessions with Troy, and they enjoyed activities aimed at strengthening hand/eye coordination. Students laughed as they juggled scarves, balls and peacock feathers, but they also gained confidence while learning how they could negotiate their bodies to keep control.
Our Elementary students enjoyed a more intense experience and met with Troy each day of the week. They progressed from hand/eye activities to those involving balance and coordination. For many, it was the first time they had explored stilts, unicycles, massive hula hoops, pogo sticks and balance balls—and for our oldest students, situational comedy and the secrets of clowning!
Our community wishes to thank Troy for an unforgettable circus week that delighted both children and adults alike.
