Get Out and Play!
With the morning work cycle complete and the snow finally melted, many of our youngest friends’ legs just wanted to RUN. Ms. Toko’s class did a pre-race countdown in Japanese, while children from Ms. Teresa’s and Ms. Catherine’s classes happily tended their plants, raked, bounced and visited with each other. Parents, you’ll be happy to know that the soggy grass created a perfect opportunity to work on cleaning off the bottoms of shoes before entering a room. Try this the next time you are entering your home: “Stomp, Stomp, Wipe, Wipe.” Sometimes all it takes is a little jingle to make a simple housekeeping task more enjoyable, so outdoor time stays fun for all.
