Toko has been a part of the MSGH team for 9 years, working in several positions. She began as the After-Care assistant, where she worked for three years, while also working part time in the office. She then worked in the Primary classroom as an assistant to Preeti. In her first year as a toddler teacher, she taught the half-day toddler program in the morning and ran the music program for the elementary level in the afternoon, where she wrote and directed the elementary play. Toko has supported our board with their administrative duties and has been a parent educator, running Saturday-morning parenting workshops for new parents of babies birth-6 months of age.
Prior to joining MSGH, she was the office manager and director at Down To Earth Landscaping and Irrigation. It might be fun for our community to know that our petite Toko handled office work, while also managing crews of 5-10 landscapers and assisting with job completion, which included the installation of brick patios and stone walls! She has also been manager at the Burlington Gardens Florist, and has taught piano for adults and children both privately and through the music departments at local continuing education centers.
Toko holds a BA in English Literature from the University of New Hampshire and a BA in Music Theory/Composition from the Hartt School of Music. Her AMI diploma is from The Montessori Institute in Denver, Colorado.
In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano and sharing the joy of music with little ones through private lessons. She is an avid reader, loves to play tennis and stay active with sports like biking, hiking, or by working out, and is looking forward to her upcoming wedding.
