New Parent Welcome Picnic
This event is run by our Family Association to welcome new families to MSGH before school officially starts.
Garden Party
One of MSGH’s signature traditions. New parents and returning families come together for our annual back-to-school potluck.
Elementary Mystery History Day
Parents are invited into the classroom as children open the doors to their “museum of historic figures.” A fun day for all as history is brought alive.
Parent Information Nights
This popular teacher-led series serves a dual purpose: to support and strengthen parenting skills and to deepen parent understanding of Montessori philosophy and curriculum. More information is available here.
Come See My School: For Primary and Elementary Parents
This event provides an opportunity for parents to get a better understanding of their child’s work and independence in the classroom.
MSGH Open House
This event offers the community a chance to tour our classrooms and talk with parents and staff about what makes MSGH such a special community.
Elementary Dinner with Alumni and Alumni Parent Panel
Our alumni and their parents talk about their experiences beyond Montessori and how their time at MSGH prepared them for the next steps and the bigger world.
Winter Sing-Along
This celebration is held on the last day of school before the December break and is one of our community's favorites. If you want to get a one-shot dose of the MSGH school culture, this is the event to attend. This is also a favorite among extended family and friends.
Heart of Montessori
This is a not-to-be-missed, child-centered fair that promotes heart health and demonstrates many of the things at the “heart” of MSGH.
The MSGH Annual Gala
This event offers a wonderful night out to support the MSGH Cultural and Financial Assistance programs.
Bushnell Park Carousel Party
Since the founding of our school almost 50 years ago, MSGH has held an evening picnic in Bushnell Park the night before the last day of the school year. Old friends return and new friends join us for one of the school’s favorite traditions.
Moving-On Ceremony
We celebrate the year and honor our students who are graduating from Elementary and moving on from Primary to Elementary.
