Christy joined the MSGH community in 2010 as an assistant in Primary Four and has worked alongside Nancy White to nurture children in our All Day Classroom. Prior to MSGH, she worked at The Cobb School Montessori, where she was a teacher’s assistant for two years. Before she began her work in the Montessori field, Christy held long-term positions of many years each as a nanny offering critical support to families. Some of the families she worked with had children on the autism spectrum or with severe, life-threatening allergies. She is currently pursuing her degree in general studies with a focus on early childhood education and American Sign Language.
In her free time, she enjoys being with her large extended family and she and her husband are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child.
