Heather Rochat joined the MSGH community in 2011 as an assistant in our Afternoon-Enrichment program and is a valued classroom substitute throughout the school. Prior to joining the MSGH community, Heather was a teacher’s assistant and the Afterschool Coordinator at Hamilton Park Montessori School in Jersey City, NJ. She has extensive experience working with children, but she also has a background in design and public relations. She was a design assistant and office manager for Sherrill Canet Interiors, LTD and was a member of the public relations department at Retail Brand Alliance, Inc. (Brooks Brothers), both in New York City.
Heather earned her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Textiles, Merchandise and Design from the University of Rhode Island, and has also studied at the American Intercontinental University in London, England.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading about interior design and nutrition, swimming and playing golf.
