Jessica Bona
Primary Two Assistant
"I'm so excited to be starting at MSGH! There's nothing more inspiring than watching a child grow through exploration."

Jessica joins the MSGH community this year as an assistant in the Primary Two Classroom. She comes to us with a strong background in psychology and organizational communication, and has demonstrated commitment to children’s health and wellness. She served as a substance abuse counselor at the Hartford Dispensary for two years after holding a variety of academic research positions in the field of substance abuse, and as part of that work, was published in the American Journal of Addictions. She also served as a teaching assistant for CREC Soundbridge, assisting in the mainstreaming of pre-school children with cochlear implants.

Jessica is due to complete her AMI Primary Training in June 2012 at the Montessori Training Center of New England. She holds her a BA in Psychology and a BS in Organizational Communication from Ithaca College in New York, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
