Leslie joined the MSGH community in 2009, two months after she graduated college, and began working in our main office as an administrative coordinator. Quickly identified as a natural with children, she began substituting and returned to MSGH the following year as an assistant in the Primary One classroom. Prior to joining MSGH, Leslie focused on her academic studies and held positions in research relating to Child Speech, a variety of administrative roles in libraries and law offices, and she was the student manager of the Von der Mehden Recital Hall on the University of Connecticut campus at Storrs.
Leslie holds her BA in Linguistics and Psychology from the University of Connecticut, where she held a position on the Dean’s List as a New England Scholar, and has an extensive background in language study. She has attended programming at Yale University to study Chinese and Japanese and is fluent in Spanish and French. She’s working on German.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading and writing. And since she comes from a long line of actors, directors and opera-goers, she also spends much of her time at the theatre and enjoying music.
