Maria Boulanger
Toddler Two Assistant
"I have always wanted to work with children; it’s so fulfilling."

Maria joined the MSGH community in 2010 as an assistant in the Toddler Two community. Originally from Peru, Maria came to the United States as a student to pursue her education, and following her passion for supporting others, began working in the field of social work. She has worked with children at the YMCA in Plainville, CT, Manchester Community College’s Summer Excursion program, and was an intern assisting children and families at The Bridge Family Center’s Family Resource Center.

Maria holds her Associate’s degree in social work and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in the same field at St. Joseph College in West Hartford.

In her free time, Maria enjoys travel, dancing, and being outdoors—but above all things: learning. “Growing up in a developing country really makes you appreciate learning.” Maria and her husband are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child this January.
