Jessica Cote
Primary One Teacher
"The minute I walked through the door at MSGH I was hooked. I knew Montessori was what I had to be a part of, and I continue to cherish how we respect, embrace and love the whole child at each stage of his or her development. Each day, I feel so lucky to be a part of our community, where I see children who are happy and joyful in an environment that helps them grow physically, mentally and emotionally. "

Jessica joined the MSGH community in 2008, and for three years assisted in the Primary Two classroom. Inspired by her work each day, she began the intensive training to become a classroom teacher. During this time, she was the teacher intern in the Primary 4 All-Day classroom. In 2012, Jessica completed her training and became the Primary One classroom teacher.

Jessica holds a BA in English from Central Connecticut State University and an AMI Primary-level certificate from the Montessori Institute of San Diego. In 2014, Jessica completed her graduate study through the University of Hartford in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Montessori, earning her master’s degree.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and her daughters.
