Nancy White has been in the field of Montessori education for over 13 years. Prior to joining the MSGH team in 2008, she served as a Primary teacher at the Cobb School Montessori in Simsbury, CT from 2004-2008 and as an assistant from 1998-2003. As an accomplished swimmer, Nancy also served as a swimming instructor at the Renbrook Summer Adventure program for six years before moving into the position of Assistant Director of Senior Trips. In that role, she planned and implemented a variety of adventure camp experiences for children ages 11-14. Prior to joining the Montessori field of education, she enjoyed her role as a special education professional in Regional School District Number 10.
Nancy holds a BS with a concentration in Human Services from Springfield College in Springfield, MA, and earned her AMI teaching diploma from the Montessori Training Center of New England.
In her spare time, she continues occasional work as floor manager for Russell’s Creative Global Cuisine, where she has worked since 1992. She also enjoys spending time with her children and dog, traveling to the Cape, and running, biking, and reading.
