We keep recess and summer experiences relaxed, memorable and fun; just as they should be.

Recess and Summer Programs

Our Recess and Summer programming is as flexible as it is fun. The children experience a relaxed, carefree atmosphere with familiar faces and routines in a home-like setting guided by Montessori principles.

Children set their own pace, moving freely between the indoor and outdoor environment, and can choose from a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, science, music, dancing, and open-ended materials. Children may choose an organized activity or create their own fun and games, with many new friendships and bonds among age groups nurtured during this time. The children’s activities are enhanced by visiting programs with music, health, science, art and nature themes.

Winter and Spring Recess

The Winter and Spring Recess Programs are available for children aged three to six years who are enrolled in our school. The program is available from 8:00 to 5:30.
